Carve Your Message Against Poverty with a Wood Router

Whether you are part of an organization against poverty or not, you can always use a wood router to make signs that speak of your beliefs or ideas about the issue. You can support financially poor people by becoming a messenger for them in small ways.

wood_routerYou may not be able to conduct or facilitate programs, but you can always remind others and yourself to be caring and generous by placing signs outside your home, building, or office. You could even donate signs to government and non-government organizations which focus on fighting poverty. Believe me; even these signs can help ignite the hearts of others.

Although wood routers are usually used to make beautiful signs connected with business, they can also be used for community development purposes. If you want to know more, visit http://gardeningandhome.com/best-wood-router-guide/.

Instructions

  1. To carve a message, you should print it first. Suggested messages are presented below.
  2. Draw or trace the design onto a piece of wood.
  3. You can use a round nose, square end router, or v-groove bit to hollow out the letters and shapes. You could also use the other bits to carve complicated designs.
  4. If you want, you can round the edges of the sign or utilize a more decorative edging bit.
